BUYER GUIDE / 01

Choose the bottle
around its use.

Appearance helps identify a product. Volume, interfaces and operating conditions determine what needs to be checked.

Five steps to a clear selection brief

01

Define the use

Describe the drinking-water application, handling or dispensing arrangement and destination market. Record constraints instead of relying on a photo alone.

02

Define volume and envelope

State litres or the relevant gallon convention, the available space and handling needs. Check external dimensions against a drawing.

03

Check the neck and closure

Provide the current cap, neck dimensions or drawing. Describe the thread or other closure method and confirm accessory scope separately.

04

Review equipment and conditions

List filling, cleaning, conveyor, capping and use-equipment constraints, including actual temperatures and media.

05

Confirm with documents and samples

Specify drawings, material information or test documents. Agree sample evaluation and the approved revision before finalising purchase terms.

Organise the review by bottle family

Similarity is a starting point, not a specification

A similar appearance does not establish the same neck, capacity or accessory fit. Equal volume does not establish equal dimensions. Combine existing-product information with operating constraints to make the discussion useful.
